AMD Ryzen 3700X

I have again fallen in love with AMD. The products they bring since Lisa is their chief of staff is amazing.

I used to build PC's with AMD but some 15 years ago I started to use Intel because they where better. But that has all changed now. AMD has started a war and we as consumers are having the fruits of it. The CPU's are getting very quickly better and better. After some AMD CPU's I upgraded last week my main pc. I upgraded from a 2700X to a 3700X. That CPU is around 20% faster and supports PCI 4. I also therefore upgraded the motherboard that also has PCI 4 support. That will make my rig very future proof.

And the first impressions are very nice. For production tasks like Zip/Unzip and rendering the PC is much faster. For my gaming at 3440x1440 it's not a real difference. But for that I will upgrade to a AMD RX 6700 beginning 2021. And the 3700X will help me to stream live. When I'm settled and have my new GPU I will start streaming my sessions. So MrMarcie will be live.
